In 2017, we were offered this Mercedes-Benz 230E Automatic from the South of France. A particularly tasteful example finished in a color combination rarely seen on a W123, equipped with, among other features, the rare automatic climate control system. We immediately seized the opportunity to acquire the car and were able to sell it shortly afterwards to a customer from our client base in Stuttgart, Germany. Nine years later, this remarkable Mercedes-Benz 230E has returned to our collection. When we sold the car in 2017, the odometer showed 88,271 kilometers. Today, the mileage stands at 96,797 kilometers. The accompanying maintenance invoices, TÜV reports and supporting documentation demonstrate that the car has been maintained consistently and without compromise over the past nine years.

The Mercedes still retains its original factory paint throughout, showing only minimal signs of use. The rare Brazil cloth interior also presents in remarkably well-preserved condition and displays very little wear. The bodywork remains completely untouched, accident-free and free from corrosion, even in the areas known to be weak points on the W123. As usual, we have included extensive photographs of the underside in our photo gallery.

The car is accompanied by its original owner’s wallet with manuals, service booklet, data card, TÜV reports and a file containing maintenance invoices. The service booklet received only a small number of stamps during the car’s early years in France. The original data card lists, among others, the following options:
