Dit is er één voor de echte liefhebber. De Mercedes-AMG G 63 4x4² is extreem zeldzaam en werd slechts in zeer beperkte aantallen gebouwd. Juist daardoor is deze uitvoering bijzonder interessant voor fans en verzamelaars. Dit exemplaar uit 2023 is uitgevoerd in Nachtzwart Magno en heeft heel weinig kilometers op de teller.

Onder de motorkap ligt de bekende 4,0-liter V8 biturbo, goed voor 585 pk. Maar juist onder de auto wordt het écht interessant. De speciale portaalassen zorgen voor maar liefst 35 cm bodemvrijheid en samen met de drie sperdifferentieels is deze G gebouwd voor terrein waar de meeste auto’s liever omheen rijden. En met een maximaal trekgewicht van 3.500 kg ontbreekt het ook niet aan trekkracht. 

Die extreme offroadcapaciteiten zie je ook terug in zijn uiterlijk. Deze G 63 4x4² heeft onder meer het AMG Night Pack, diverse AMG-details, een optionele dakdrager met ladder en volop carbon accenten. Vooral de brede wielkasten, grote all terrain banden en de speciale carbon cover van het reservewiel springen direct in het oog.

Binnenin wordt het een stuk chiquer, met zwart nappaleder, carbon sierdelen, sfeerverlichting, verwarmbare en elektrisch verstelbare voorstoelen en een Burmester surround sound-systeem.
